About Philip Cooper Curtain Makers
After qualifying through the National Design Academy and initially working from home making curtains and roman blinds for friends and family, Philip Cooper Curtain Makers was established in 2005. It quickly became apparent that people appreciated quality and the orders kept coming in. It's word of mouth and satisfied customers that really sell our products and that's why the business has continued to expand.
In 2010 there was an urgent need for much more space. After viewing a lot of industrial units, converted factories, lock-up shops etc. it was clear a newer build would probably offer more flexibility and most important – more light. Philip Cooper Curtain Makers move into the Studio in late 2011 but haven't yet had the opportunity to unpack completely or even decorate!
Customer Satisfaction
We like to work closely with our customers no matter how big or small the project is. That makes for a very personal service and that's why, coupled with a quality product at the right price, our customers keep coming back.
Training and Support
Back in 2008 Philip set up www.mydecozo.co.uk, the Curtain Makers' Forum. It was intended as a site where a small group of curtain makers, separated by geography, could easily share ideas, best practice and generally support each other. To date, mydecozo has over 1800 members posting over 47,000 messages. So the training we offer is based on a wealth of industry knowledge and is supported through commercial experience; useful for start-up businesses or the dedicated DIY'er.
